In 2012, the WFP will bring food to 75 million people in 75 countries. Every day, the WFP takes the necessary steps towards giving people hope and a future.

This year, TNT will celebrate it's 10 year partnership with the WFP. We celebrate this partnership by raising awareness and funds to end hunger. Together we take a step. Within one weekend, 1,2 and 3 June, over 40 countries, thousands of TNT colleagues will take a step to end hunger.

The Walk the World event 2012 will take place in the first weekend of June 2012. All the stories, videos and images of the fantastic regional events will be shared via this blog, starting with a brief overview of some photos from Walk the World 2011.

Hi I am a high school student and I wanted to know if high school students are allowed to participate in the Walk the World Event. Also will one of the Walk the World events take place in New York City? Thank you!

Hi Melissa, Thank you for your interest in the Walk the World event! Everyone can participate in our walks! Unfortunatelly this year there will not be an event in New York. For the US, this year, local events will be organised scattered around the country.

I will be walking in Boston with one of my students. We will be attending a student-led conference: TIDE sponsored by Youth LEAD online. Where should I send our small contribution this year?

Hi Carmen, If you could send me an email, I can give you the donation information! sacha.van.ginhoven@tnt.com

Hi im from Honduras, one of the countries that is taking the step :) i was wondering if there is there a slogan or something for this year Walk the World?

Hi Amy, Fantastic that Honduras is taking it's step to end hunger! There is no new slogan, we still use 'take your step to end hunger', because it's a simple and very clear message! Greets, Sacha!
