3 June (Sunday): It was a great day of fun to raise funds and CSR awareness with an estimated participation of 800 persons and nearly € 50,000 collected! Donations came from corporate sponsors and participants who had generously purchased carnival coupons to support this event. After the 2.5km walk, a mini carnival awaited us with exciting music, games, food, lucky draws, auction of TNT collectables and a series of enlivening activities which created a high level of energy for the usually quiet Sunday morning by the bay. To make this charity event even more meaningful, the Asia Pacific office had also invited underprivileged children from a local care-giving home to join in the fun through additional donations of carnival coupons for them. “It is indeed a meaningful day and knowing that I can play a part in alleviating the global problem of hunger together with my colleagues has given me a sense of fulfillment beyond my job.” comments Noridah, a 6th year participant from TNT Singapore.
