TNT assists WFP in Nicaragua

Since September 8th Emilie Jacquemier from TNT Express France is send out on an Emergency Response assignment. She assists WFP Nicaragua as a reports officer in the operation that started after hurricane Felix hit the country.

Emilie, a trained Emergency Response Team (ER-team) member, is fully prepared for her assignment. As part of being prepared as an ER-team member, Emilie received followed an internal TNT training in June this year on all kinds of topics related to emergencies and working in the field (security, health, emergency operations, etc). The TNT France management is very supportive of this deployment and are preparing themselves for 6 weeks without Emilie, their security analyst. As Emilie is a member of the ER-team, she is always on stand-by to be deployed to an emergency within 48 hours after WFP asks for TNT's support.
